Kevin L. Cooper Scholarship
Scholarship Eligibility
Kevin L. Cooper Foundation is offering a $500.00 scholarship to a graduating high school senior who has loss a loved one to violence in Baltimore City. All applications must be submitted by no later than May 31, 2026. The recipient of the scholarship must meet the qualifications listed below. Emphasis will also be placed on the applicant’s response to the essay question. For additional information, please email info@kevinlcooperfoundation.org
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicants must have loss an immediate family member (mother,
father, sister, brother, child, guardian) of their family to violence;
2. The crime must have occurred in Baltimore City;
3. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0;
4. Applicants must have verification that they have been accepted into an accredited institution of higher learning. The scholarship will be paid directly to the school.
5. The recipient of the scholarship must begin classes no later than the spring semester of 2027.

Youth In Transition School
Kevin L. Cooper Foundation is offering a $100.00 Achievement Scholarship to a graduating high school student of the Youth In Transitional School.
Our scholarship winners are known as KLCooper Achievers.
QUALITIES:
*Determination to set and reach goals | *Respect for self, family and community | *Ability to succeed in High School
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
2. Demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.
